You are missed by all.

White Owl resides at Turtle Island where she and her husband, Monty (Dances with Dogs), care for the land and all the creatures of Turtle Island. White Owl conducts Native American Ceremony, Native American teachings, and is a member of the Red Earth Spirit Drumming Group of Turtle Island.

"The Red Road is an answer to my prayers. It is the way that my heart has longed for and the way that I will continue to follow. It is the way that brings peace and comfort to my heart and brings balance and order to my  life. It is the way that teaches the relatedness of all Creation, a belief I have held dear since I was a young child.

Following the Red Road is as much a part of my being as breathing. It would not be possible for my heart to accept anything except walking the truth of Mitakuye Oyasin (we are all related.) I knew as a very young child that my lifework was to help others in a spiritual way. That is my vision, that is my dream, that is my life. Every step I have taken to this point in my life has prepared me and led me to this vision. Turtle Island is a part of that vision, a place for myself and others to find that Spiritual oneness that we desire in our hearts."

Turtle Island supports and teaches natural concepts of soul well-being and provides teachings and ceremonies to balance ourselves with all of nature and our Earth Mother.  We encourage and teach all peoples to walk the Earth in harmony and love, respecting and learning from all life forms.

Our lifework is helping others balance and strengthen their natural energy. We help others to find their place in the natural world by honoring all life forms as part of Creation.

Turtle Island provides day, week, and weekend camps, ceremonies to relearn ancient wisdom, and teachings to find personal balance; returning us to a natural order in our lives.

Our camps include Hanbleceya (Vision Quest) Camps, Inipi (Purification/Sweat Lodge) Camps, Teaching Camps, Moon Lodge Camps, Native American Drumming and Singing Camps. Turtle Island also provides a quiet, natural setting for those looking to retreat to Nature for a day or longer periods of time.

Turtle Island is located 65 miles southeast of Branson, MO, in the beautiful Ozark Mountains west of Yellville, AR., on Highway 14. (Directions

Camps are conducted on forty wooded, mountain acres surrounded by Bull Shoals Lake. Eagles and hawks fly overhead, the cry of the cougar can occasionally be heard, bear tracks can be seen after the rains, bobcats visit often, and many other wildlife brothers and sisters are always present. These acres are part of the "Acres for Wildlife" program protected by the state of Arkansas.

The Original American Culture

Civilizations thrived here for thousands of years before our "American” culture existed. The time has come to bring back the wisdom and teachings of the Original American People.

Join us as we continue to bring to you the wisdom and teachings of  The Original American Culture.  Walk through the forest enjoying Nature's bounty, view the world from the Sacred Inipi (Purification/Sweat) Lodge site, and gather support from others who are on the same journey.
